Hello, we are " The Heavy" an artist duo Bud Herrera & Kimberly Duran. We focus on spreading love through art. Public art adds enormous value to the cultural, aesthetic, and economic vitality of a community. We offer original high-quality custom murals for all types of customers. We also give back to our community through our neighborhood clean-up projects. We add value to spaces that are often overlooked. Currently based out of Downtown Santa Ana, California. Art is the universal language, and it should be everywhere!!

Welcome to The Heavy Collective, a Public Art Initiative founded in 2013 by Kimberly Duran and Bud Herrera. Our mission is to bring art to local communities that may not have access to museums or galleries. We occupy public spaces with custom public artwork, so people of diverse cultures and backgrounds can enjoy it on their daily commutes. Our inspiration comes from the diverse ethnicities that inhabit the spaces we paint, as well as incorporating ancient civilizations, history, philosophy, culture, and organic elements. Our art can be viewed in many different contexts, from university murals to luxury hotels. We have collaborated with various organizations, including the Anaheim Ducks, HGTV, Santa Ana Police Department, and Viacom, among others.
